While the photograph of Paris Saint-Germain’s Champions League victory topped the vote, the results powerfully highlight the conflicts that have dominated international news: the two photos focusing on Gaza garnered nearly 24% of the votes, and those featuring Ukraine 18.44%. This reflects what resonates with a generation of 15-year-olds regarding the world around them.

Bashar TALEB’s photo came in second with 14,14 % of the vote (2246 votes).

Omar AL-QATTAA’s photo came in third with 9,71 % of the vote (1544 votes).

Palestinians watch a five-a-side football match amid the rubble of destroyed buildings in Gaza City on February 9, 2026. Despite a US-brokered truce that entered its second phase last month, violence has continued in the Palestinian territory, with Israel and Hamas trading accusations.

If the goal of the device is to allow each student of 3rd to look at the news throughout the world, it is also and above all to take the pulse of a generation that will make the democracy of tomorrow, guarantor of freedom!
