French and foreign students voted (21,75%) for photo #20 taken on June 18, 2022 in Zamora (Spain) by César MANSO for AFP. If the environment is once again at the heart of the concerns of young voters, they will also have been marked this year by the war in Ukraine. The conflict was represented within the selection by three photos. Together, the three shots collect 28,46% of the vote.

Between July and September 2022, all around the world, teachers worked with their pupils on the selection of Gaze into the mind of 15 year olds. Close to 16,000 young people took part in the vote!

Students from Germany, Anguilla (Bristish oversea territory), Austria, Spain, Greece, Italy, Lithuania, Senegal and Tunisia participated in the operation.

In France, schools from 61 departments participated: Ain, Aisne, Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, Alpes-Maritimes, Ardennes, Aveyron, Calvados, Charente, Charente-Maritime, Cher, Corrèze, Côte-d’Or, Côtes-d’Armor, Creuse, Dordogne, Doubs, Drôme, Eure, Finistère, Gard, Haute-Garonne, Gironde, Ille-et-Vilaine, Indre-et-Loire, Isère, Jura, Landes, Loir-et-Cher, Loire-Atlantique, Maine-et-Loire, Manche, Mayenne, Meurthe-et-Moselle, Morbihan, Nièvre, Nord, Oise, Orne, Pas-de-Calais, Puy-de-Dôme, Pyrénées-Atlantiques, Rhône, Haute-Saône, Saône-et-Loire, Haute-Savoie, Paris, Seine-Maritime, Seine-et-Marne, Yvelines, Deux-Sèvres, Somme, Tarn, Tarn-et-Garonne, Vaucluse, Vendée, Vosges, Yonne, Hauts-de-Seine, Seine-Saint-Denis, Val-de-Marne, Val-d’Oise.
